Jessica A. Dugan, DVM, MBA – Co-Founder, President & Chief Executive Officer
Jessica is an equine veterinarian with over 24 years of clinical experience. She has owned and managed her own veterinary practice since 1996 in Southern California and Europe. She is a specialist in equine sports medicine, traveling the world to examine high-value horses for purchase. She has a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from London Business School.
Richard W. Keatinge, PhD – Co-founder & Chief Business Officer
Richard has more than 25 years of biotechnology industry experience in the US and Europe. He has a deep understanding of business development and corporate communications, serving most recently as Chief Business Officer and Managing Director at Cytheris SA (Paris) and immediately prior to that as Managing Director and Vice President of Business Development at BioAlliance Pharma SA (Paris), where he led the BioAlliance team in its 3x oversubscribed IPO on NYSE Euronext. He has an extensive network of business development contacts in the US, EU and Asia, including contacts in multiple big pharmaceutical companies as well as in the investment banking and venture capital communities. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a PhD from Harvard University.
